URGENT & IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

You may already be aware of the incident outside Shah Jalal mosque in Aston, Birmingham, at 2.15pm today 27th April. Our prayers and thoughts are with the 2 individuals affected and who were struck by a vehicle which failed to stop. May Allah swt grant them shifa and a full recovery. Ameen

Full details not known as yet about the victims or the identity or motive of the driver of the car. Zia ul Quran Jamia Masjid advises the whole community to take care stay vigilant at all times.

Update:

Alhumdulillah Zia Ul Quran Jamia Masjid will be hosting a meeting for the Birmingham Council of Mosques in early May 2018. We are hoping to discuss the main issues affecting the Birmingham Muslim community.

This is a closed meeting and NOT open to the public. However we would like the community to advise us on the issues they would like us to raise at the meeting. Any agenda items to be advised via the comments section or by pm'ing us.

Alhumdulillah Zia Ul Quran Jamia Masjid is now a member of the Birmingham Council of Mosques (BCM)

We are happy to inform you that Zia Ul Quran has just joined and is supporting the Birmingham Council of Mosques (BCM) by becoming a full member.

BCM is an organisation which aims to be an exemplary and unifying Islamic organisation in Birmingham that contributes to the betterment of the Muslim community and society as a whole.

In brief we will be a part of an organisation which aims to unite all the various mosques/organisations/groups in brimingham to work together and overcome the issues which affect us all.
